ArchKU wins HEQEP Sub-Project
ArchKU wins a sub-project of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) under the Academic Innovation Fund (AIF) in Round-III. The title of the sub-project is “An integrated support system for the improvement of design studio-based architectural teaching-learning” (CP 3446) with an awarded budget of 249,928USD. The duration of the project is two years. The Sub-Project Manager (SPM) is Prof. Anirban Mostafa and the Deputy Sub-Project Manager is Dr Sheikh Serajul Hakim. The project team consists of the SPM, the DSPM, Prof. Afroza Parvin, Mr. Gouri Shankar Roy, Dr Hafizur Rahaman and Mr. Shibu Prashad Bosu. The sub-project aims to upgrade the prevailing teaching-learning environment into a more integrated & conducive one by primarily facilitating students’ long time design development process in design studio (architectural class room) – typical of any architecture/design school in the world. The improvement through the implementation of this sub-project is expected to motivate both students and teachers to focus more on innovative study and research.
